Rosa Clará recognized for her charity work at the Starlite Gala

Designer Rosa Clará was awarded for her charity work by the Starlite Foundation at the 12th Edition of the Starlite Gala held on Sunday, August 8th, in Marbella (Spain). The award ceremony recognizes the social work of public figures who use their strong social commitment, influence, and media presence to help the most disadvantaged.

Rosa Clará was recognized for her discreet collaboration and continuous involvement with a multitude of charitable causes, as well as her implication in society, where she works alongside different organizations to provide opportunities for children and empower vulnerable women around the world. After receiving the award, Rosa expressed her gratitude “especially to the Starlite Foundation and its hosts Sandra García-Sanjuán and Antonio Banderas and congratulated them for all the years yielding success and doing excellent charitable work on behalf of society.”

Another award recipient at this year’s gala was businesswoman Paloma Cuevas with whom Rosa is collaborating in creating a collection of special cocktail dresses, Paloma Cuevas by Rosa Clará. The collection will become available internationally in early 2022, and both took the opportunity to wear two designs from the collection for the first time. Rosa Clará wore a black cocktail dress in crepe featuring a halter neckline with turquoise rhinestones. Paloma Cuevas chose a white silk muslin cocktail dress featuring rhinestones on the neckline and waistline. The look was completed with a silk muslin cape.

Other Gala attendees decided to wear dresses from Rosa Clará Group. Actress and presenter Carolina Cerezuela chose a black beaded dress.

Sonia González, Juan Peña’s partner, opted for a bougainvillea silk crepe dress with gem detail on the shoulders; presenter Elsa Anka wore a halter neckline printed brocade open back gown.
