Rosa Clará, the internationally acclaimed wedding dresses brand, celebrated the opening of its flagship store in Mexico City’s prestigious Polanco district on Thursday 21 November. The event was attended by fashion industry figures, socialites, influencers, the media and designer Rosa Clará herself. The guests, who numbered over 150, were shown the new space and given a first-hand look at the designer’s 2020 wedding dresses and cocktail dresses collections.
A unique space
The Rosa Clará Polanco store was looking its absolute best as it prepared to give Mexican brides-to-be a warm welcome. Lights, white flowers and candles decorated the opulent interior, which has a floor area of over 500 m2, ready for the launch of the Rosa Clará Couture, Rosa Clará, Rosa Clará Soft, Rosa Clará Boheme and Rosa Clará Cocktail wedding dress and eveningwear collections. The store also showcased a wide selection of accessories, including glitter evening shoes guaranteed to appeal to sassy guests, and lace and tulle wedding veils for deeply romantic brides.
And for customers seeking an elegant, sophisticated and truly unique look for the family’s younger members, an area was devoted to the Rosa Clará First collection with 2020 first communion dresses.
Located just off Mexico City’s glamorous Avenida Presidente Masaryk, one of the world’s busiest shopping streets, the new Rosa Clará Polanco store is the company’s flagship in the country.
Special guests
The grand opening was attended by a host of celebrities, among them Spanish actor and model Ivan Sánchez, Mexican actress Bárbara López, blogger and TV presenter Chantal Torres, model and Miss Mexico 2016 Ana Girault and Spanish actress Estefanía Ahumada, who looked stunning in one of the season’s most spectacular long evening dresses, a black lurex design with long sleeves taken from the Rosa Clará 2019 cocktail dresses collection.
Nobody wanted to miss the grand opening and the opportunity to meet Rosa Clará, who travelled expressly from Spain with her son Daniel Clará for the occasion.
